PODER Celebrates Susana Almanza’s Birthday With A Film Screening

East Austin environmental group PODER (People Organized in Defense of Earth and her Resources) is holding a birthday celebration for Co-Director of the organization Susana Almanza tonight at Mexitas Mexican Restaurant. The event will feature live music and a screening of the movie, Susana Almanza: The Life of an Activist. Susana is a long-time partner of Southwest Key and a devoted East Austin activist. We wish her a happy birthday and encourage everyone to head down to Mexitas to celebrate. The invitation is below.
